Talk:Who's afraid of Doktor Sleepless?
From doktorsleepless
Point of contention: I'm pretty sure that the authorities are afraid of the Doktor also, Preston Stoker is certainly acting a bit scared. Confusion 07:09, 3 October 2008 (PDT)
That's true - I was looking for a focal point/climax? of the story. --Spiraltwist 21:01, 6 October 2008 (PDT)
Interesting final page.
After Sleepless's big speech on seeing his parents die, having Stoker reveal that they died on "accidental overdose on recreational drugs".
Theory: What if they did not actually die of death-due-to-giant-interdimensional-squid. Perhaps the "True owners of this earth" are mearly Johns way of coping with what he saw. Rationalisation of something that so someone of his age is simply irrational? --Doktor-Nick 25 November 2008
Possibility. Kinda of the like the 'Clown' the people saw as children in Stephen Kings' IT. Not what the being looked like, but the illusion their minds created with in order it cope with something unspeakable to look at. Seeing his parents dead of an overdose, which is not pretty, could have fractured his mind to create something more fantastic, and more importantly, something to blame for their deaths. --Spiraltwist 06:32, 27 November 2008 (PST)
