Should all characters given names be included here, or just the ones that are definitely associated with the plot? And maybe some alphabetization? --Murphix 08:05, 6 September 2007 (PDT)

Hm, Stalin? --Pseudoscience 16:33, 6 September 2007 (PDT)

I've done a rough sort into categories. If you don't like them, change them. --Pseudoscience 17:02, 6 September 2007 (PDT)

It's very pretty, yes! --Murphix 09:45, 7 September 2007 (PDT)

Warren, et al. need their own heading - where they are implies they are in the book, which they are not. I can't think of anything other than "People who bring the Doktor to the pages" - which is boring and won't work. --Spiraltwist 21:10, 23 October 2008 (PDT)

any reason "Creative Staff" or simply "Creators" won't work? --Taz 15:57, 24 October 2008 (PDT)

"Creative Staff" sounds the best. As far as I know, Mr. Ellis is the one with the ideas, so I don't know how much the artists/inkers/colorists/letterer dudes have a hand in "creating" the book, per se. Everybody probably has their instructions on what they are supposed to do.

Maybe listing (for example) Warren Ellis - Writer; and so on. --Spiraltwist 14:33, 26 October 2008 (PDT)

been thinking about this. obviously you're right, if the creators' names stay on the People page then there needs to be a separate category for them. but i'm hesitant to do that -- People has been for characters and real people referenced in the comic, so (until the script references them) maybe they shouldn't be here at all. clearly they should be in the wiki somewhere. my instinct is to create an overview-type-article (eg Doktor Sleepless (comic) or similar) that could collate about-the-publication links (issue cover galleries, "what it's about" link, creators, etc) in one place. then i think we've kinda already got one: the main page, tho it's not currently designed with that in mind. the main page's "Access" heading mixes two types of pages: those about the world/story within the comic, and those about the comic itself. if "Access" is considered as short for "Access (the world of D.S.)", that's a perfect heading for the first group. the second could get its own heading ("About (the comic)" maybe?), and the creators listed there.

advantage: puts the creators on the main page (doubleplusgood, IMHO). disadvantages: no room for narrative (paragraphs and such) in the current main page design; and where do you put "incursions" & "photographs" entries? under the heading for the fictional or the real? --Taz 17:20, 28 October 2008 (PDT)

Yeah, that's my thought too.

Yes.

The rest of it, I'll get back to later. Brain is too tired to form coherent sentences right now.--Spiraltwist 22:44, 29 October 2008 (PDT)

Thinking about this - probably not a good idea as my brain is boiling - but incursions and photographs is both real and fictional, with more "real" tendencies. Reality is relative. --Spiraltwist 15:15, 30 October 2008 (PDT)
