Talk:Fake Blood Swap
From doktorsleepless
The blood would have answered some questions. Maybe.
What's in there he didn't want them to see? Or more importantly, what isn't in there? --Spiraltwist 12:05, 11 April 2008 (PDT)
Oh! Let's call it the Null Hypothesis, that he IS John Reinhardt, BUT as he's said, a heavily Grinded one. So the blood-swap was a sample from before he left Heavenside? Because now his blood is swarming with nanobots?
Or Doktor Sleepless is a freaking robot. (Which always makes me think of the old Superman (or was it Superboy) with the robot Clark Kent he kept in the closet)). And hence, has no blood.

This whole fake blood swap thing is a seeming "can of worms." I mean, another possibility is that it could be that the man in the cell isn't John, but since they have him--and his DNA--the blood sample given was his (which, I guess, goes some way to supporting the Barbie Cult hypothesis, I suppose). The incident certainly leads to more questions than answers! -- 444 4:14 12 April 2008 (UTC-7).
I agree with 444. Until we see the results of the blood test, we won't have any clue as to whose blood that is. My mind wanders to the "Preston Stoker always suspects" line...is it possible that the Dok is just trying to mess with Stoker? My hypotheses: Dok give him blood that will either prove himself to be Reinhardt when he isn't, or prove himself to not be Reinhardt when he is, or prove himself to be someone else important (i.e. Stoker himself), which would probably just piss Stoker off.--Adrammalech 13:42, 12 April 2008 (PDT)
I think a key fact to consider is that the Nurse participated in the swap and she seems to think he is John Reinhardt. So if it was to fake his identity why does she think he did it? I prefer the screwing with Preston Stoker angle anyhow.--Mark 02:26, 18 April 2008 (PDT)
Ellis really loves to mess with our heads... in issue 7 it is revealed that the swapped blood sample does not match Reinhardt's. It seems Adrammalech was right about "proving himself to not be Reinhardt when he is". --The Fifth Horseman 02:52, 13 June 2008 (PDT)
I think issue seven makes it somewhat proven he's just messing wtih Stoker's head.He made a fake blood sample. The blood sample was not John Reinhardt's.Therefore it is John Reinhardt's blood.-Mallinz
