"An inhabitant of Brazil"? Not sure about that, the Amazon stretches to several countries, and the real place La Chorrera is in Colombia...--Pseudoscience 14:44, 10 September 2007 (PDT)

Another possible reference might be Carlos Castaneda's Don Juan.--444 05:39, 1 April 2008 (UTC-7)

The Castaneda connection is interesting as it has been repeatedly alleged, most prominently by Richard de Mille, that Castaneda manufactured the 'Don Juan' character that appears in his books from several other sources, which, if true, makes 'Don Juan' a hyper-real extension of Castaneda's own ego, not a flesh-and-blood Yaqui shaman.

Wouldn't that make Don Juan a tulpa, then?--ShanwRC 10:38, 9 April 2008 (PDT)
