Anyone have a theory as to how the Doktor produces the diagrams he conjures when talking to the Nurse about Shriekyware? --Grim 12:05, 19 September 2007 (PDT)

Only the really boring one that he is just gesturing, and the diagrams are in his head. Nurse appears to be looking at them, but could be just looking at his hands waving around. Otherwise, perhaps his cool 'lectric fingers can do skywriting like you do with sparklers... --Pseudoscience 14:26, 19 September 2007 (PDT)

That's it: I'm making a mad science-y fingertips page. --Murphix 02:31, 20 September 2007 (PDT)

Just spotted this via slashdot. Not quite the same, but perhaps a piece of the tech needed to do something similar: Artists 'draw on air' to create 3D illustrations --Markav 21:07, 23 September 2007 (PDT)

Is Sing Watson the one he wonders if she is "out there tonight" (in the city)? He gives no reference to gender. --Spiraltwist 21:23, 18 December 2007 (PST)

I think the (not so)good Doktor is virtually "drawing"- he has an implant allowing him to draw lines that are seen by other people's IM lenses, and so in effect draw in the air-- Antongarou 15:50, 14 April 2008 (GMT+2)

What is the Doktor up to?

It's painfully apparent that the Doktor has a plan. If he didn't, the story would be boring. The "problem" is that we don't know what it is.

The cover of issue 07 says "Marg Bar America", which Spiraltwist (Talk:Issue07) reckons means "Death to America"[1][2]. The Doktor also mentions creating zombie RFID chips. RFID chips are used to identify people, presumably for payment and authentication purposes. If the chips were overridden, if they no longer gave out a unique ID then people would not be able to pay for things, society would start to crumble (imagine what you would do if your credit card stopped working. You might be fine for a day or so with the cash in your pocket).

The cover of Issue04 also shows an "army" of grinders.

John Reinhardt also seems to be pretty well involved in the creation of the world as it is now. Maybe he doesn't like what he has created. Is this all crazy? --hobofood 02:46, 10 January 2008 (PST)

He doesn't like he helped to create the situation they in (says so in issue #4). --Spiraltwist 05:54, 10 January 2008 (PST)

And he wants to hurt people, as stated in Issue #5.--Spiraltwist 20:23, 13 February 2008 (PST)

As of Issue #8, we have a decent idea of what he's up to...or not. He seems to be deliberately provoking Sing, almost setting her up as a counter to his cartoon mad scientist scheme, and we know he's not above lying and manipulating people to his own ends.--Adrammalech 02:08, 29 August 2008 (PDT)

At one point in Issue #7 he states "Changing the world is as easy, or as hard, as just changing the way everyone thinks about the world." This links to a Jose Luis Borges story "Tlon, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius" wherein a group of intellectuals create a fictional entry in an encyclopedia and propagate this until it becomes true merely by virtue of everyone believing it. Could it be that the good Doktor is in fact intending to change Heavenside into his own pool of belief that he then intends to spread across America?--ContrabandStan 07:42, 14 April 2009 (PDT)

Anyone already typed up his monologues? that we might put them up here somewhere? -- M1k3y 20:03, 12 February 2008 (PST)

-Considered it but they make up the bulk of a lot of the comics, i think it would be better for people to buy the issues for them. -- Faust 01:40, 14 February 2008
