This entry needs to reflect that ayahuasca contains DMT, but isn't DMT -- the experience of ayahuasca appears to be remarkably different from the DMT trip.

A correction I figured I'd point out instead of just editing it off. Ayahuasca isn't smoked, sniffed or injected. Ayahuasca specifically refers to the injested brew created from DMT containing plants (It can be made from multiple kinds of plants) and the MAOI. Also, the Banisteriopsis Cappi vine is the MAOI part of the brew, not the DMT containing part.

You should check out Clifford Pickover's book Sex Drugs Einstein & Elves. It's a great read and about half of the book is about DMT and Ayahuasca. --ravnos
