Talk:Angel construct

I think a couple of major questions need to be posed about this particular entity. Is there just one that roams the city, or are there several? Is it the cause of St. Theresa's Eyes or a symptom? Finally, do more appear with more cases of STE?

I'd also like to say that it's a thing of beauty. Well done, Ivan. --Murphix 14:00, 10 February 2008 (PST)

If there is one for every case, that would be a lot of Angels by the time this is all over with.--Spiraltwist 20:21, 13 February 2008 (PST)

I think there is one and that it's real. There are only the two panels in Issue 04 where Cecilia sees it, the rest of the time (in Issue 05) it's alone. I think this implies that it's not a hallucination, and is therefore the cause of STE, but something about that doesn't quite sit right with me. --hobofood 02:13, 14 February 2008 (PST)

The Doktor stated that STE "permamently alters perception" and "makes people see angels". At no point, however, does he say they "angels" are an illusion. This might parallel a quote in first issue of No Hero - "or perhaps was it here the whole time and only now I let you see it"?

Doktor's reaction to seeing one indicates he is not only aware of their existence but also possibly possesses further knowledge of the entities.

Perhaps it's a nod to Fnord? --The Fifth Horseman 05:06, 3 October 2008 (PDT)

sure, maybe. but where does the umlaut go? --Taz 05:53, 3 October 2008 (PDT)

1. Given this, either A or B is true:
A. The Doktor has been infected with St Theresa's Rapture before and is hallucinating he sees the angel.
B. The angels are real.
2. In the few panels where Doktor is shown without his goggles, there are no visible facial scars and his eyes are not red. Even assuming the eye color returns to normal given enough time, traces of the scars would still remain.
Therefore: The Doktor has not been infected with St Theresa's Rapture.
Therefore: The angel constructs are real.
