Hakim Bey is a pseudonym of Peter Lamborn Wilson, an individualist anarchist, mystic, poet, philosopher and pederast whose traveling brought him into contact with a wide range of ideas. He describes his philosophies as guerilla ontology. Many anarchists of atheist and materialist schools dislike the mystical and occult leanings in his works.

Hakim means 'wise man' in Arabic and 'judge' in Turkish, while Bey is a traditional term for tribal leaders.

Many of his writings are available online. He also writes a blog under his real name.
