Dr. Albert Cannon

Dr. Albert Cannon was appointed the legal guardian of John Reinhardt. Dr. Cannon himself found the Reinhardts dead years ago. He appears to be human, but his teeth are shown as being black. The picture of the Reinhardts dead, when shared with a mind reader in an alley, shocked the mind reader speechless. Dr. Cannon admits to trying to "guide" young John, not raise him. He said he had failed. The doctor then guts the mind reader in the alley, killing him.

The doctor seems motivated to clean up the mess that John Reinhardt created - presumably by assassinating him.

In issue #8, he is seen lurking outside Scartop Mansion. Doktor Sleepless becomes aware of him (maybe he got too close to either the house, or Doktor Sleepless?), and vice versa. Exactly how this occured is not clear.

His first appearance is captioned with text from a piece of flash fiction.[1]

He has no tags of any kind, which is unusual.

In Issue09, Cannon attempts to attack Sarah Berlin, but ends up getting Tasered for his efforts. As a result, in issue10, we find him in the custody of the Heavenside police. However, in explaining himself to Preston Stoker (who, BTW, calls Cannon "an equal"), Stoker decides to cut Cannon loose in order that he might have "...as many moments as [he] require[s]" to stop John Reinhardt.
