| People flock to Catastrophe Books, talking about the previous night's broadcast. Celia sets Sing Watson up to sell the copies of the new printing of The Darkening Sky to customers who are looking for anything by him. Sing Watson doesn't want to be known as his former girlfriend.

| Dr. Albert Cannon kills the Mind Reader in the back of an alley. He appears to be in town to clean up John Reinhardt's mess.

| Nurse has a flash back to her childhood, where she may or may not have figured out her mother, who was a nurse, had killed her father. Afterwards, she leaves the house, telling Doktor Sleepless she will be back later.

| Nurse goes to see Max Cale's lecture on a LIFE IN MURDER at the Heavenside Central Library.

| Max Cale talks of his imminent.sea days, and of being one of many authors on the group blog.

| Sing Watson leaves the bookstore and Celia follows her. Sing Watson tells Celia that John Reinhardt was Professor Zero on imminent.sea, though no one else knew. He apparently help to fund the group blog.

| Nurse confronts Max Cale after his lecture. He was recruiting people for the government, and the Nurse was one of his previous recruits. He evidently took advantage of her at one point. Nurse guts him, bothered because he knows some of her previous names.

| Doktor Sleepless broadcasts about helping to bring about the stagnation of Heavenside. He tells of tomorrow morning being what everyone will deserve. The Grinders are out on the streets, listening.

| Sing Watson and Celia are at the bookstore when Celia sees a Angel construct come into focus and begins screaming.

| Nurse returns and Doktor Sleepless is upset at Max Cale's death. Nurse didn't realize he had plans for him.

| Sing Watson has taken Celia to the Heavenside General Hospital, where the doctor doesn't know what is wrong with her. Two more people had been admitted in the last hour with the same symptons. Celia may be untreatable.

| Doktor Sleepless begins his next broadcast, telling of how 'real' musicians were. He says that anyone can be made into being.

| Doktor Sleepless presses the "Do not Press" button, shutting down power to the city for a minute, in honor of Max Cale. Even cars lost power.

| Nurse is instructed to get into character to wait for the police. Preston Stoker insists Doktor Sleepless caused the blackout, but he has no proof. Doktor Sleepless provides the commissioner with a blood sample he draws on himself. Doktor Sleepless threatens Preston Stoker, believing him to have been responsible for Max Cale's death.

| Doktor Sleepless tells Preston Stokerthat there are three cases of St. Teresa's Eyes in Heavenside, which appears to shock him.

| Doktor Sleepless tells Nurse of Preston Stoker's attempt to incarcerate him. He also told her he released St. Teresa's Eyes into Heavenside. They leave Scartop Mountain and go into the city, where Doktor Sleepless proceeds to show and tell the Nurse the secrets of the H-Plates.

| Doktor Sleepless reveals the H-Plates are location markers that soldiers can use to find entrances to the underground Apocalypse Bunkers., located beneath Heavenside. Originally started as a place of refuge for the government in case of nuclear attack, six of them changed after the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, evolving into "cultural bunkers" in case of revolution.

| Doktor Sleepless reveals, among other things, that he can shut down all the IM networks from the War Rooms except for Clatter, because that's the way he designed it. See Revolution.

| Doktor Sleepless had isolated the Apocalypse Bunker from the others, before he left Heavenside, by having it send out a message everything is fine.

| Doktor Sleepless and the Nurse emerge from the bunker and go to a rooktop. There, the Doktor sees a Angel construct. He gives the impression he is not supposed to see them himself.

| Sing Watson come to the conclusion that Doktor Sleepless is back in Heavenside to hurt people, as John Reinhardt has had another breakdown.
