I've had the Dok wallpaper up on my computer and this:

has been bugging me. Why the break in the grinder symbol? Obviously we still don't know for certain the full meaning behind the symbol, so the meaning of breaking it is going to be guess work too.

One of my thoughts is that if you turn your head sideways, you end up with a lower case h.

Thoughts?

I'm hardly mechanically inclined, but I imagine that gears set up to grind like that will break when enough energy is put into trying to rotate them.

Pure speculation: we may see that symbol break down more and more as the book/time progresses and maybe transform into a new symbol.

Still haven't figured anything of it - though the sticker is an exact replica of the temporary tattoo backing.

Elana's speculation is a good one. :)
