In Issue06, while Doktor Sleepless and Nurse are discussing the origins of the Apocalypse Bunker, the Doktor mentions to Nurse that the evolution of the bunker from its beginnings as a fall-out shelter began in 1963. When Nurse asks him what happened in 1963, the Doktor tells her "a coup d'etat" occurred, and qualifies his assertion with the phrase "back and to the left."

"Back and to the left" are the directions that John F. Kennedy's head moved as a bullet (or bullets) penetrated his body at a half-past noon in Dallas, Texas, November 22, 1963.
